Hidden Mickeys

At Disney Parks there are hidden secrets called Hidden Mickeys.

A Hidden Mickey is the silhouette of Mickey (one large circle with two 2/3 size circles for ears)

These have been placed throughout Disney attractions and movies as a nod to the mouse that started it all.

There are many ways to enjoy Hidden Mickeys while at the parks.

Tip #1- Brush up on your Hidden Mickey knowledge.

I love TPMvids and they do a great job of sharing some of the favorite Hidden Mickeys in the Parks (Spoilers!)

Pick up a book about Hidden Mickeys of Disney World or Disney Land

Tip#2- Make it a Game

Keep track of who sees the Hidden Mickey first and keep score throughout your trip.

Tip #3- Make Your Own

Please, please, please don’t start littering in Disney Parks! But, if you see a window with some dew or dirt on it, give it a Mickey. If you see some acorns laying around, make them a Mickey. If you come across some sand, make a Mickey.

Tip #4- Flat Mickey

Flat Stanely is a children's book that started a tradition for many families. A Flat Stanley is created on a flat piece of paper or cardboard and placed in pictures along a various adventure or trip. When you return home you can collect the pictures into one album for Flat Stanley’s adventure. Create a Flat Stanley with some Disney Theming, create a drawing or coloring sheet of a favorite Disney character, or just use a treasured toy.
